"I believe all suffering is caused by ignorance. People inflict pain on others in the selfish pursuit of their happiness or satisfaction. Yet true happiness comes from a sense of peace and contentment, which in return must be achieved through the cultivation of altruism, of love and compassion, and elimination of ignorance, selfishness, and greed.” Dalai Lama

Her calm and kind manner, together with her easy going personality, is what draws people from
all walks of life to her. These particular skills were just right for her work at the Consulate General.
She also speaks a few languages.
During her NYC years she attended acting classes at night with the legendary Austro/American
Herbert Berghof at HB Studio. Her teachers included Ann Jackson.
She came to Los Angeles and continued working for Diplomatic Services . It was during that time that
she met one of her mentors, the legendary Filmmaker and emigre’ Mr. Billy Wilder. They had a very
unique friendship. He introduced her to the art of photography and conversation. He advised her to
become a writer and take as many photographs as possible. As an avid photographer she now has a
vast collection of photographs.
At her work for the Diplomatic Services she garnered high praise for working tirelessly to ensure that
every Austro/American Holocaust survivor in her jurisdiction in America received restitution and a
pension for life . In the process she made many beautiful and lasting friendships. Her work and duties
also included many other International tasks, such as working with the State Department.
In her spare time she also wrote many compassionate letters on behalf of the poor and the elderly.
Apart from her work in the Diplomatic Services, she also holds an Interior Design Degree and is a
member of the Int’l Press (IFJ).
Amongst the many interesting people she has encountered over the years she is especially proud
of having met and photographed the Dalai Lama, who continues to be an advocate for
Peace and Compassion.
She embraces healthy living and encourages everyone around her to do the same.
